Justin Freeman, CPA

Justin founded the firm in 2023. Justin brings fifteen years of experience as an accountant. He works with businesses in a variety of industries, including real estate development, retail companies, service providers, restaurants and contractors. He advises on and prepares returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals. He enjoys working with clients to estimate their tax liability and try and provide ways to reduce or “flatten” client’s tax liabilities, as necessary.

Justin manages and reviews all of the individual and business tax returns prepared by the Firm. He also handles the planning and strategy side of the Firm and educating the staff to help continue their growth. Justin handles the Firm’s personal property tax programs administered by the State of Maine and local municipalities, the BETE & BETR programs.

He earned his BS in Accounting in 2008 and his MS in Accounting in 2009, both from the University of Maine. Justin currently serves as treasurer for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine. Justin lives in Bangor with his wife Nicki, their two children Ben and Luke. In his off time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and friends, playing with the kiddos, as well as campfires in his backyard, game nights, and attempting to play golf.
